[Synopsis] The story begins as a foreign bride visits her husband’s secluded hometown. There, she witnesses "Daesalgut,"a traditional shamanic ritual performed by her husband’s family to welcome her and ward off misfortune. However, the experience turns harrowing when the rhythmic sound of bellsduring the ritual triggers her buried trauma of childhood adoption and abuse. Isolated and cut off from the outside world, she turns to her smartphone for answers. But due to an AI translation error, she misinterprets the benevolent ritual as a sinister shamanic curse directed at her. Trapped in a linguistic void and consumed by escalating paranoia, her past shadows collide with the present. In a frantic state of terror, she commits an irreversible tragedy by attacking her husband. This film portrays how the absence of communication, malfunctioning technology, and the lingering ghosts of the past can ultimately devour the present.
